09/28/08-An Explosion of Grace: featuring Messianic pastor, Art Weiner, and trumpeter Don Shire (www.donshire.com). This will take place Sunday, September 28th at 10:10am and 6:00pm. Come join us as we continue to learn about God’s immeasurable gifts!
10/11/08-Annual Wild Game Dinner: The Wild Game Dinner will take place on October 11th in the Fellowship Hall. The doors will open at 5:00pm and dinner will be served at 6:00pm. Tickets are $10.50 for adults, $6.25 ages 6-12, and children ages 5 and under get in for free. You can get your tickets by calling or stopping by the church office. If you have any items you would like to display, please see Gene Mitchell. The deadline for getting your tickets is October 1st.
10/25/08-FALL OUT 2008: featuring illusionist Brock Gill, 9-time UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes, and the music of 1000 Generations. This will take place at the Litchfield High School Gym on October 25th from 6:00-9:00pm. Admission is free and there will be giveaways. For more information please visit myspace.com/thedooryouth.
10/26/08-The Mason/Ramsey Comedy Expedition: Taylor Mason and Thor Ramsey have both been featured on the hit release Thou Shalt Laugh and Thou Shalt Laugh Deuce as well as being featured on Bananas Comedy TV Series...and now they are charting a direct path for funny straight to First Baptist Litchfield. The Comedy Expedition will land on Sunday October 26th at 6:00pm. Tickets are $13.00 for Gold Circle and $10.00 for general admission. You can call the church office, 217-324-4232, for tickets.
